I am required to wonder how the complainer who is so certain that the outside employees smoking WERE imbibing pot.



I constantly see folks in the Springfield area following various rules and regulations and smoking cigarettes outside but to smoke an illegal substance outside, likely in the cold, passing around a pot cigarette that is so obvious to those "in the know" via past self-experience or legit observations well................



I am forced to possess doubts about the veracity of the complainant's gripe.



Let the lad complain. Perhaps doing so fills some internal psychological need to possess power over others.



I trust that innocent until proven guilty will be followed by Hardee's and will not automatically assume the complainer is 100 percent accurate with the charge.



Maybe the complaint is to garner a coupon for a free item(s).



Sure, send the griper a coupon for a freebie but please, no knee-jerk reactions against all or part of the crew complained about unless proof-positive of a violation exists.

last nite, 10/17/o8, i flew into springfield to visit my family. we stopped at this location 11;30 pm. the lobby was closed, so we decided to go through the drive service. as we pulled around to the back, there were about 4 employees outside smoking marijauna. i was shocked and upset as my children were in the car. i have always visited your restaurants while in town, and will probably never revisit your establishment. this was not the family establishment that deserves my business. i called the store this morning and was treated very rudely by an employee named 'christine'. she informed me that they were too busy to get the store manager as it was breakfast rush. later, i was able to contact 'sam' and he assured me that he would address the situation. he was very accomadating- a slight comfort to my disappointment.. your food is always delicious, however the conduct of the staff wasnot only unprofessional, but illegal. please inform your area manager. i will follow up on this matter when i return to colorado.
