I took an old fur coat of my mom's to McDaniel's. As my mom passed away, the coat has sentimental value to my family even though it is not in condition to be worn. Jeff Latimer (owner) was kind enough to take time to explain how I could use remnants of the coat to make keepsakes for my family from it. He not only gave me a lesson, but then the tools to do it myself. I offered to pay him for the 40 minutes of his time and the tools to which he thanked me but declined. It is not often these days that establishments take this type of time, effort and kindness. I highly suggest this business to anyone who is looking to purchase, store or repair their furs.
