Throughout the years, I have sought chiropractic care from several different physicians. Earlier this year, I was visiting Springfield for a short period of time. I called several clinics about seeing a chiropractor. Every clinic I saw told me I would have to have a full work up with x-rays before their doctor would treat me.



Thing is, I was receiving chiropractic care from my local chiropractor and had been under chiropractic care since childhood. I appreciate what they referred to as "medical precaution", but I know it was just a cash cow.



I was in pain and spoke with Christina at Phelps Chiropractic. She was very understanding and immediately got me in with Dr. Phelps. This clinic is what I would call "old school". They are not trying to take every last dollar to your name - they are not selling whacked out herbal concoctions, unnecessary vitamins, weight loss programs or fertility treatments.



Dr. Phelps' and his wife and Christina run the clinic. I feel welcomed and in good hands every time I visit.
