Springfield Regional Center, also known as SRC, provides housing and support services for people with developmental disabilities. The center has been serving customers since 1965. It offers services for people with developmental disorders throughout southwestern Missouri. Springfield Regional Center offers services to individuals suffering from mental retardation, cerebral palsy, head injuries, autism, epilepsy and learning disabilities. The center also serves people with functional limitations related to self-care, learning, mobility, independent living, and receptive and expressive language. Springfield Regional Center is a part of the Missouri Division of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, which is operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
