Provided by YP.comI talked to Misti about a rescue dog I have who is just over a year old and terrified of people. I have had the dog just over 3 months and she has learned to walk on a leash (finally), comes when called and understands No or Stop, but I can't get her to sit. She is afraid of anyones hands, and will get barely close enough to take a treat.
Misti suggested she come to my house so the dog would be comfortable in her own element. She was here an hour and was unable to get the dog to do anything. I told her my vet had given me a prescription to help calm dog and she doesn't feel thats the right RX, and wants me to tell my vet to change it.
Her method of training is a clicker (which I told her before she came I cannot use due to arthritis) She used one of my cheese sticks as a treat which she broke into tiny bites to try luring the dog to her, along with the clicker. She accomplished nothing, gave me a clicker which I am returning, and charged $120.00 saying she takes credit cards. I gave her a credit card which she took a picture of on her cell instead of swiping (as people have done for some time other places) and before 7 a.m. the next morning I had an email from credit card company saying a "fradulent charge from China" had come thru the day before. I called credit card company and as they were canceling charge and card, 2 more foreign country charges came in. To date I've had 5 tries. I sent a message to Misti and took her 24 hours to answer, and her message was nice, but "sorry, you need to continue with me for a total of approx. $2000 to $3000 when all I need is to get dog to sit. And sorry about fraud, but you still owe me the $120. 00. I will not go back, and will pay when I am not getting more foreign, fraudulent charges, not will I use or recommend her.

Provided by YP.comWe have boarded our three dogs with Side Kick Dog Training and are very impressed! Misti asked exactly the questions I would expect from a boarding place that also has extensive experience with dog behavior. I knew she recognized that our schnauzer is sensitive to loud sounds and that our lab mix has trouble being bossy to other dogs if she is around food. When we returned from our trip to pick up the dogs, the dogs were all very relaxed and calm. Our interactions with all of the staff were personable and friendly. I can't recommend Side Kick enough! On our trip I had no anxiety about how our pets were doing, I knew they were in the best of care.
