In December 2017, I dropped off an expensive womens’ suit to be dry cleaned. The suit was in perfect condition. When I went to pick up the suit, the decorative piping was melted and separated from the suit and the buttons were all loose. When I pointed it out to the young man at the counter, he said that the manager needed to look at it. A woman came out and agreed that there was a problem and said they would contact the manufacturer to see what could be done. I was so angry, I walked out, leaving the suit. When I came back, the young man at the counter went to get the manager for me. This time, a different woman came out and said she was the only manager. She then proceeded to tell me that the problem wasn’t their fault. I have taken the suit to an independent tailor who verified that the piping was melted from using an iron that was too hot. It will cost me $75.00 to have the piping redone. The manager lied about the damage and was extremely nasty. I believe that this business does not take responsibility for their mistakes.
