Wags and Purrs is under new ownership has been for the last 5 years. I am one of the groomers and Lilly is the new owner. Come check us out. I doubt you could find a cleaner grooming shop in Springfield! Lilly and I are excellent groomers listen to what people want and more importantly work well with your pets tending to their individual needs and personalities!

Great customer service, and great people I've been coming here for over 5 years and have never had a problem. These other people clearly don't understand how a grooming business works

This woman shouldn't be allowed to touch anyone's pets.
My morkie is almost a year old and has never had fleas. I took her to have her groomed at wags and purrs on Belmont 11/5/16. After arriving home I noticed that my little one was scratching, after checking her over I found fleas on her. Also bloody nails and her privates had been cut with scissors.
I feel terrible for leaving my pet with this woman. The groom costed $35.00, and now I have to pay for a unexpected flea treatment!!! I'm only giving her one star because it was required in order to leave my review... I wouldn't give her any stars if I was able to!!!!
Shame on this woman!!!
DONT LEAVE YOUR PETS WITH HER, SHE WILL HACK THEM UP AND GIVE THEM FLEAS!!!!

I used to go to Barb for years, even after a few issues with my dog coming home with fleas once, nicked a couple of times and constant insults about his weight. I was loyal for far too long. After being charged an extra $10 over my usual fee because my 20 pound poodle (miniature and of average weight per my vet) "hurt her back", I left and never went back, leaving a message on her phone about why I will never give her my business again. By the way, she never seemed to have a problem lifting the large breeds into her tub.

Was told it would be $25.00 but ended up being charged $35.00. When my dog was brought home it was discovered he was bleeding because his nails was cut too short. The groomer was told not to cut his nails but she cut them anyway. The groomer said my dog didn't cooperate which is no wonder since she hurt him cutting his nails!!! I'm so very upset about her hurting my dog!!! Needless to say I will not be bringing my dog there again!!!
