I just wanted to put up a quick review of Curran's Custom Taxidermy.



I am very impressed with Curran Manzer, John and Josh. The work these guys do is by far the best I have seen. I have had skulls beetled, whitened and mounted on plaques, hides tanned and mounts done. The guys and Currans do a fantastic job. Not only did everything look great, the turnaround time was very minimal.



I currently have a 3/4 life Bear mount in the shop. I am kind of picky about what i want to look like. Curran sent me picks of the form, and wow, He NAILED IT! I was able to swing by and see the progress after he sent the picks. He took the time to explain the steps in detail and why he does things the way he does. I got another pick in the early hours this morning and magically the hide had been fit to the form! It looks better than I could have imagined! I can’t wait to pick it up this weekend!



Curran has the knowledge and ability to do the best work in the Pacific Northwest. I am not kidding! I have seen a lot of mounts and these are the best. Hands down.

His prices are hard to beat as well. The only way to beat the prices he has is to go with a hack and whack taxidermist. I would not suggest that!



I will also mention Curran did a full size cinnamon bear for my brother in law, a few cows for my wife’s uncle, hide tanning for friends, euro mounts for others and everyone is very happy with the end results!

When I visited Curran at his workshop I was greeted with a smile and a handshake. I was very impressed with the work that I saw. I had visited many of the other taxidermists in the area and I felt that his work was the best. His habitats were original and what i liked most is that he offered something different with his mounts. Not the average mount. I just got back my blacktail buck the other day and WOW only begins to describe it. He did a shoulder mount on a rotating pedestal. It looks just like he did when I shot him. He truly is recreating memories to last a lifetime. Thanks again Curran. Best of luck to you!
