I am part of a gaming group that meets up about a block behind Kona Cafe every Sunday. Eating at Kona Cafe is the one meal I look forward to every week. My girlfriend is obsessed with their Teriyaki Chicken, where I am quite content with my Barbecue Chicken or Kalua Pig. Their wok-fried noodles are one of the best side dishes around and I have never looked back at steamed rice since trying them. The most popular Kona Cafe dish in our gaming group is the Volcano Chicken, which at least one of the guys will be munching on before game time.A negative review is not enough to scare away the patrons who know better about Kona Cafe.Regarding Pot-Mac: At nearly every down-to-earth eating establishment in Hawaii, you will find one form or another of Potato/Macaroni Salad. Though the ingredients are not inherently Hawaiian in origin, it became very popular there since the Second World War, as did SPAM.
