If I could give this Church half of a star or none at all I most certainly would. Please be cautious when coming to this church, they are VERY good at making themselves look like a great place to worship. Our family chose this church because it did present itself well and seemed to be a great place for our children. It did at one point have a wonderful Children's ministry program. Like many churches we soon found this one too had it's favorites. The problem came when the Children's ministry staff who children loved started leaving. We as a family spoke with these people to find out why as well as with other parents of kids there and found out that they were being pushed out for various reasons. So aren't you suppose to be able to talk to the Pastor and Elders about concerns? You would think so, not the case here. My husband and I were told that they couldn't tell us anything and that we need not worry about it. I reached out to some friends of ours in the church who were also told they couldn't speak of any of this. Now it seems to me that these are valid concerns that should not be overlooked. The Pastor has a past that many of us have forgiven and looked past. He preached well so why not? So if the congregation was willing to forgive his big mistake why are we all being treated this way??? This is a very hypocritical church. The Pastor speaks about things but as the saying goes, he needs to practice what he preaches! I DO encourage you to visit on your own and not just take my word for it, after all you may fit in, you may like it. Just keep an open mind and if you have Children I caution you. They have a select few in that church that run the show for the kids program, if those people don't like a certain teacher...they too will find themselves gone. And who suffers but our kids. My Husband and I along with our kids have found a fabulous new church we are happy! Finally. :)
