On March 17th I took my 4 yr old daughter to have her teeth cleaned & checked. The dentist told me my daughter had 2 cavities & complications with her teeth growing in due to use of a pacificer. The dentist was rude to me & my daughter & she was not cooperative with him. Instead of taking the time to make my daughter feel comfortable, he scheduled an appointment to have her put to sleep to fill the cavities. My daughter, being 4 yrs old, I did not want to have her put to sleep so I took her to another dentist to have a second opinion. On March 26, I took her to a well known dentist who does not accept Tenn Care. The staff & dentist were very kid friendly, made her feel comfortable & had no trouble inspecting her teeth. I was advised she has NO cavities & that she should give up the pacifier, but there's no problem with her teeth at this time. I would advise against using this dentist to anyone, especially young children. A bad experience with a dentist for a young child is especially frightening.
