We will never donate to Pink Elephant again!!! A very rude and disrespectful volunteer staffer treated my wife like dirt. My wife gave many items to them -- 5 pairs of shoes, books, a lamp, etc. They have a strict policy that if they don't sell something in consignment within 5 weeks, and you don't claim it back, then they keep it. Most places give you 90 days.



My wife and I came back from our wedding, and were hoping to spend a day with our parents and kindly asked the volunteer staffer whether they could hold what wasn't sold for one more business day. The staffer rudely told us no and hung up on me when I asked for a one time exception. This is not how anyone should treat a generous donor. We had to lose time with our parents and make it back to claim our unsold items.



DONATE TO SALVATION ARMY and any other place that treats their donors with respect and decency.

You can find nice things for good prices but the people who work there are always complaining about their jobs and are extremely rude to customers. I finally found it was just easier and more pleasant to shop at the many other consignment stores in the area. I have never been treated with kindness in this store.
