Jim is a true professional and masonry artist who also happens to be a very nice guy. Our chimney was deteriorating and Jim gave us quotes on one repair and two rebuild options. We chose the less costly repair and Jim said he would get to the job in about two months. Nine weeks later Jim was here right on time and filled in the chimney’s missing bricks with a red colored acrylic mortar that he sculpted to look exactly like brick. The acrylic and brick colors matched perfectly and my wife could not tell the difference between the original bricks and his repair. He also sealed the chimney crown that had three cracks, removed loose material from the decaying bricks, and then sprayed the entire chimney with 10 year water repellent. They did an excellent job of pushing basement block wall back into place and stabilizing it, and then excavating around outside off house and replacing drainage system. They could have done a better job of troweling the cement block wall work they did. All around excellent work in every other area.
