Brigham Young Winter Home Historical Site
67 W 200 N, St George, UT 84770
President Brigham Young lived in this home in St. George, Utah, during the winter months from 1870 to 1877. The adjacent office was built to facilitate the work of preparing the sealing and endowment temple ordinances for the dead, conducted for the first time in the St. George Utah Temple. The home and adjacent office have been restored and furnished to reflect their 1870s appearance. Tours tell about Brigham Youngs family life in St. George and about his role in directing the settlement of southern Utah, including the construction of the St. George Utah Temple.
