AboutStafford Family Counseling (SFC) is the largest private outpatient psychological practice in Stafford County. SFC has over a dozen licensed clinicians practicing in our office. Here at SFC, patients of all ages and ranges of difficulty are seen.Specialty programs in addition to the expected individual, couples and family counseling are offered. These programs include a state licensed supportive in-home program for providing instruction in daily living skills and promoting the welfare of the chronic psychiatrically disordered (Virginia Support Services, P.C.). Another specialty program is a state licensed intensive in-home program for children and adolescents (Virginia Home Based Counseling, P.C.). These programs have over 40 clinicians and are funded through Medicaid and local government funds, e.g., FAPT teams. Finally, SFC offers an Anger Management program.
