I could not disagree with the previous reviewer (Shopper-2012-CT) more, as we had a wonderful experience with Pablo and his team at Flooring Source.



We recently purchased a home in New Canaan and needed the following work done:

- refinish the wood floors on the first and second floors

- runner on the stairs going to the second floor

- full carpet in the basement (from the stairs, hallway in basement and the basement itself).



Naturally, we interviewed several companies/contractors and it became apparent that Flooring Source had the best combination of price, knowledge and experience.



They took their time to walk us through the processes (e.g. water vs. oil for the floors, types of carpet, padding, etc), came by our home several times to answer questions before we committed and never pushed to get the sale.



They completed their work one day ahead of schedule and as we walked in, we couldn't take our eyes off of the wood floors as they looked magnificent! The carpets (runner and basement) were also done exceptionally. Refinishing wood floors can often leave a mess, but Pablo and team did a great job in ensuring that that our house remained clean (e.g. walls, kitchen, etc) during this process.



We highly recommend Flooring Source to anyone looking for a company that is reliable and delivers high-quality work.

This firm did the tile in our bathrooms and refinished our hardwood floors. I cannot say enough negative things about the contractors they hire for installation of tile and about their floor refinishers.



The tile has already started to pop loose in many places due to improper installation, they left grout marks all over the place and every contractor who has been at my house comments on what a poor job was done with the installation of the tile.



The floor refinishing, don't even get me started. I've spent thousands of dollars only to have my stairs ruined, walls covered in stain, shoe molding on cabinets destroyed, etc. It's going to cost me thousands more to have everything fixed. They don't cover anything at all to handle the dust and do a quick and sloppy job. I paid a hefty price trying to continually fix things with them only to finally learn they cannot be trusted. They accept zero responsibility for poor quality work and it's a shame they are allowed to stay in business. Do yourself a huge favor and shop elsewhere!!!
