The Northeast Elementary School, located in Satmford, Conn., is affiliated with the Satmford Public Schools. It has an enrollment of more than 750 students and offers its curriculum for students in grades kindergarten through five. The various subjects offered include English, language arts, mathematics, science history, geography and social studies. The elementary school also offers foreign language, music, art and computer application classes. Its library and media center provides PowerPoint library lessons. It has a gymnasium as well, for the students. Its parent-teacher organization holds family nights throughout the academic year. In addition, the Northeast Elementary School s students have learnt the American Sign Language.
