I bought a house outside of cos cob and hired the relocation group to manage it--rent it out and keep things working, while I lived far away. I have to say, they were excellent--I cannot fault them at all. They are not located near my house, but they took care of absolutely everything. They are not expensive, especially given all they did. after I stopped renting out the house, and it still took me another 7 months to move there, they still offered (and i gladly accepted) to continue taking care of the bills, and managing any problems that arose with the house. Believe it or not, they continued to do a great deal of work of all kinds---including having to come out of their way to my house to take care of a few emergencies, and they would not accept their monthly fee. They said since the house wasn't rented, there was no income, but they understood I was still living far away, and they were so gracious and kind and continued to take care of the house.

I have nothing but praise for the group at The Relocation Group. They are kind, attentive, and they are thorough, responsive and responsible. I had no reason to worry about the house, knowing they would take care of everything, and when something needed fixing, they got people who not only good, but they also made sure they were not costly. They took care of the property as if it was their own, and they were careful of my costs, as if they were theirs.

Peter the person who worked with us was more than helpful. He truly made our apartment hunting experience a real pleasure.

It's unfortunate that someone had such a negative experience with one agent (but glad I had the most positive experience) I find The Relocation Group to be a wonderful local company, I prefer working with a smaller firm as opposed to the big corporate run real estate offices. Big-box against the locals; I will always pick the locals!

The landlords request CREDIT REPORTS to verify the potential applicants creditworthiness; will they PAY their rent!

The Relocation Group has an excellent team of FULL SERVICE REALTORS that also offer RENTALS as one of their specialty services.

You may want to check out this company if you are looking to relocate far away or close by. They really did a good job with us.
