I love movies and the movie theatre experience. As I travel across the US several times a year, I make it a point to visit the local theatres and see the top movies (mostly action/adventure) showing at that time. For a fairly small town, even though it is a major university town, Starkville has the best movie theatre around! Friendly staff, great variety of movies and showtimes, reasonable cost, terrific snackbar with a refreshing price structure, and nice theatre seating with a great audiovisual experience. I am lucky to live 30 miles away, but I must divulge a little secret. The owers of Hollywood Premier also own a smaller theatre in Louisville, MS that aint too shabby! In fact you would be surprised at the quality of the movies and the theatre in such a small town. They also have the absolute BEST NACHOS available, and I'm not kidding. People come by just for the nachos at times! Sorry, not available anywhere but here! So, for a quick retriet to a small town resort area, Louisville's Northgate Cinema is a perfect way to accent the experience. They are open every night and offer matinees on the weekend...again, this is amazing for such a small town to have this kind of theatre. Hats of to the Clark's and Carrie, of course! Thanks for making our area such a great place to do dinner and a movie without having to go elsewhere.
