when my Siamese flooded my house by turning on water in bathtub my insurance company sent me to Alexander.
We spent six days amid loud, hot dryers while they tore house apart around us. even had to dodge nails sticking up from flooring. finally got moved into a motel and forgotten. No communication until insurance adjuster called and I told him I had heard nothing from Alexander. They called but instead of answers I got smart-ass responses and excuses.
I was by turns ignored and treated rudely from that point on.
a sea container in my driveway was loaded with belongings. told if I needed anything they’d get it . When I needed a book of checks so I could pay my bills. I had to fight for weeks to get them.
left my windows open,
repeatedly left front door open.
left my garage door open.
left sea container open.
left lights on
dumped items from living room and back porch out in yard exposed to elements.
contents of bathroom shelves dumped in tub with a litter pan thrown in on top.
peed in commode after water shut off and tank drained.
peed on dumpster in driveway,
broke ceiling light in kitchen.
installed a POS bathroom vanity that was half the size of one we had, doors crooked, did not even sit level to the floor, faucet so cheap it started to drip in less than a month.
broke my television.
found living-room mirror - broken - in closet of upstairs back bedroom.
only partially removed pellet stove chimney, ashes all over new floors.
did such a poor job marking boxes as they packed that we’re lucky to find them on right floor, let alone right room.
boxes of glassware with no cushioning.
More than once they let my pets out.
When I asked for advice on how to get musty smell out of furniture got my head ripped off - they were not responsible for cleaning my furniture.
After being called back several times to correct items they finally gave up and put credits on invoice instead of fixing mistakes.
