Central PA Convention & Visitors Bureau
800 E Park Ave, State College, PA 16803
The Central Pennsylvania Convention & Visitors Bureau (CPCVB) is a nonprofit, membership-based organization committed to the fundamental principal that convention and visitor business can be attracted to an area more effectively through "coordinated group action" rather than independent action. The Convention and Visitors Bureau is, therefore, the County's single, most important destination marketing organization, projecting an image for our area into various targeted markets. Cities and towns worldwide are represented and marketed as vacation and meeting destinations by Convention and Visitors Bureaus. Your membership joins you to a network of business professionals who understand that travel and tourism are vital to the overall wealth and economic strength of the region. The Centre County/Penn State Visitor Center is a state-of-the-art Visitor Center with staff servicing hundreds of visitors, as well as local residents, each day. Guests can find out what's happening in the area and pick up brochures on Central PA Businesses, attractions and outdoor recreation. The pet-friendly Center features state-of-the-art interactive tourism network kiosks, wireless internet service, a large brochure/information area, an exhibit gallery, auditorium, retail, vending area. The Center is open and staffed seven days a week.
