aproot Kitchen is a nonprofit catering company that believes "Everyone has a place at the table!". We engage, empower and employ adults with intellectual disabilities in in farm to kitchen to table culinary activities. We work with local farms and producers to glean, harvest and purchase seconds produce promoting a vibrant, inclusive and less wasteful local food system and community. We would be happy to cater your next event, luncheon, family gathering, wedding, golf tournament or party. We provide customized catering services from hot buffets and grazing platters, to sandwich boards and salad bowls, vegetarian and vegan options are available. We welcome volunteers of all abilities in the kitchen, garden or for cleaning projects.
