I hired Lorenzo Merritt back in 2004 to represent me in a family law case. AFTER taking my retainer, he told me that because I was a man, I had virtually no chance of getting custody of my children even though my ex was terribly unfit. He was slow to respond to phone calls and didn't respond to my emails on more than one occasion. He was not what I expected when it came to legal representation. There are many other good lawyers in Statesboro. This lawyer should be avoided at all costs.
