Provided by YP.comIf you don't read another comment, please read this one! This ad lists services provided, but please think about services they DO NOT PROVIDE. My daughter is a college student, and after reading positive reviews on Facebook, I called and made an appointment for her beautiful Golden Retriever, Prince, to be seen by this clinic. LET ME REPEAT...PRINCE WAS A PATIENT OF THIS CLINIC. He was only two years old and yesterday, our daughter found Prince unresponsive after business hours (Friday 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.). She called me hysterical, and said she didn't think he was breathing and the answering service told her if he wasn't breathing, there was nothing they could do, but she could bring him to Savannah (an hour away) and then listed how much an emergency visit would cost. My daughter was hysterical and in shock. I will never know for sure if Prince was really dead when we called, and unfortunately, I will never, ever know. I called the vet's office and received the same recording with the same number that my daughter did. I was shocked to learn they were in SAVANNAH, not Statesboro. So, if your dog has been bit by a snake or hit by a car, you have to drive over an hour away? What is an emergency? I would say it is a matter of life or death and time is of the essence. I learned a horrible, but valuable lesson. No matter the warm and fuzzy service a veterinary clinic gives you during regular business hours for normal things, please think about what your pet, your family member, means to an office after hours. There are several vets at this clinic, and they can certainly rotate emergency call like our Thomasville clinic. I have never done business with a vet's office that did not offer emergency services, and I assumed that all vet's offices offered emergency services. Please do NOT make this assumption. Prince relied on us to make good decisions for him, and I feel we let him down. He was our family, and our hearts are broken.

Provided by YP.comHealing is said to be an art & a science. But it's more with Dr Morgan & team at SBRVC. It is inspired & God blessed. In good times & bad, they will treat & your loved ones the same as they would want for themselves. It's excellence in an otherwise mundane world. Chuck C

Provided by YP.com"Dr. Morgan" is a happy name for all of our pets. He has been their primary care veterinarian for almost 20 yrs. Extraordinary treatment, compassion, and concern are qualities difficult to find......you will find all of those at Statesboro-Bulloch Regional Veterinary Clinic. Thank you.

Provided by YP.comDr. Morgan has cared for my dogs nearly 20 years now and more recently Dr. Nessmith treated our elderly dog while Dr. Morgan was on vacation. Both of these gentlemen are caring, professional, and knowledgable veterinarians. The staff are always friendly and concerned that my pets receive the best care possible.

Provided by YPmobileI have been using this office back when dr. Nessmith & his son worked/owned it. When they were a small town office, the service was above and beyond. When they moved to this larger, newer facility the staff immediatly consisted of young "overly dolled up" women or fresh-out-of-school young looking adults that were snotty & impatient in attitude. They acted like I was wasting their time the entire time I was waiting to see the vet. I will say on a positive note, I always enjoyed the vets that I saw there. They were very sincere and knowledgable. It's just that the staff was horrible. This has been on 3 accounts now and they no longer get my business. What happened to old fashioned courtesy, concern and help? I'm hoping this is different now as this occurred about 2 yrs ago and the 3 accounts were within a 2 yr range.

Provided by YP.comMy name is Susan McKinnon and I am the owner of Wild Rose Kennels, a boarding and training facility in Folkston, GA. I visit Statesboro, GA frequently, (12 - 15 times per year) and am always accompanied by at least one of my boxers. This weekend I was accompanied by my 10 year old boxer, Logan. He became quite suddenly ill with severe, bloody diarrhea and vomiting. After a phone consultation with my veterinarian in Kingsland, GA, it was decided that it would be best to take him to a vet here in Statesboro as an emergency.
Your clinic came highly recommended. Upon calling your office at about 4PM Saturday, I was informed that the 24 hour Emergency Service you advertise is only for current patients, and was given a phone number to call for another clinic. I was very unsettled by the fact that the person giving me the information regarding your services could only give me a phone number for "an E.R.". She had no idea what the name of this clinic was or where it was located. It turned out to be in the middle of Savannah, well over an hour and a half away. As frequently as Logan was being ill, it could have taken us a lot longer to get there.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am. My dogs are an extremely high priority in my life, and because I am here in Statesboro so frequently, I was looking to establish a relationship with a vet here. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that it will be with your Clinic.

Provided by YP.comI had a veterinarian in Augusta, Georgia that I loved. When I moved here in 2007, I was frustrated and concerned about the health care my pet would get here in Statesboro, versus Augusta, where my favorite vet of all time worked. I continued to commute my pet to and from the Augusta vet whenever I could and used Statesboro-Bulloch Regional Veterinary Hospital only when I had to. Then, when I met Dr. Morgan, I felt a little better, but I still just wasn't sure of his abilities. What I DID know, from the beginning, was that all of the staff was helpful, kind, and friendly. They seemed to be genuinely concerned about your pets, spoke to them, and didn't act as though you were a "bother" for being there! Most readers know what I'm talking about, how many businesses have staff that seem to hate their jobs and don't give you the time of day unless you specifically ask for it. NOT SO at SBRVH! I have yet to meet anyone there that isn't friendly and genuine. When my dog had an emergency, I had no choice but to have Dr. Morgan handle it. He did so with skill and knowledge that surpassed what I expected; and he did it with kindness and concern. He is friendly with his patients, and he is friendly with their moms and dads. That's important. I've met those who were one or the other, but Dr. Morgan is able to communicate well with the animals and their owners. Since that emergency, I have not gone back to my Augusta vet. No need; I have a place that I fully trust will do their best for my pets, and I have a new favorite veterinarian! Thanks to SBRVH for their care. Noelle
