After three hours with symptoms of a heart attack, the only answer I got was that I was stable. 2.5 hours after stat labs were drawn and EKG done, I used the call bell twice to see if my lab work had resulted to be told both times "I'll check". The third time, trying very hard to keep myself calm, I said I was having palpitations. The RN finally came in to say they only had 2 doctors (for at least 12 beds) and she was working with an EMS patient. I told her I wanted to leave AMA because I was beginning to panic. She did not provide the paperwork nor results and I said I would be leaving in 10 minutes. A CNA turned off my pulse ox alarm because my heart rate reached 145, yet the RN told me I was stable. I only saw the doctor 3 minutes and he never even examined me. After 10 minutes, I left. I told the receptionist I was leaving. They called the police who said David threatened charges if I didn't come back and have my IV removed. The officer brought the IV back to them.
