After we bought our Subaru, we were told that there was a leak coming from the transmission pan. We took our car to Jim's. They flushed the fluids, replaced the seals, etc. After this was done, we noticed that it was still leaking. When we went back, we were told that the transmission pan was warped and we needed a new one. They told us that they would put the new pan on at no charge, to which they did. We discovered a leak from our valve stem gasket cover and took the car to a Subaru Dealership. We were telling the mechanic there what all we've had done with the car and he told us that the reason why we were still seeing transmission fluid leaking was because of two reasons: There was too much fluid in it and there was transmission fluid in the differential! When we called Jim's to tell them, we were told that their mechanic did nothing wrong and that if the transmission doesn't use the extra fluid in it, it just spits it out! Wow! Talk about lack of knowledge of cars! I would NEVER recommend anyone taking their vehicles to this place.
