Provided by YP.comThis man, Albin Etzel, was my father. He passes away January 16, 2005 at the age of 82.. While he was actively farming he became very successful in rowcrop farming for Norpac Foods in Stayton, Oregon, and also raised beef cattle, timber, hay, cherries, prunes, strawberries, grass seed, and other crops. Lest I forget, he and his wife Marcella raised 6 children. In the early days of the farm (aquired in 1947) on Fern Ridge, he and Marcey had a dozen holstien milk cows, too many pigs to count, horses, and of course chickens (hense this listing as a poultry producer). Dad and Mom took a lot of pride in their farm. Through their skills and hard work, it became one of the most photgraphed farms in the Stayton area, with these images being used in numerous publications. Though we no longer raise chickens, we still have our herd of beef cattle and hay fields, and continue to have grass seed and rowcrops grown each year. Marcey still lives at the farm and continues to be an integral part of the family operation. So even though we can't offer you chickens, we can provide you with some of the best locker beef around, and an opportunity to see one of the prettiest places in the valley.
Sincerely, Ron Etzel
