I'am a 62yo. femle with hypertension, post-polio syndrome, osteoperosis,r.total knee replacement,& I have a bolt in my l. shoulder. I am a retired RN that has some knowledge about what HIPA rights are and while in Dr. Kings'care mine were seriously violated when information was released re. my blood test. I was promptly dropped as a patient after having been accused of a +meth. test. My case worker @ the time called and told me about the info. that she had been called by the sheriff's office. This I later found out was not true but the damage was done. I received a letter from Dr.King in which she informed me that I had 30 days to find a new PCP. During that time I needed a refill on my BP med to which the pharmacy said they had not recieved an OK after 4 days & repeated calls to her office. I had to go to the ER @ Santiam Memorial to get it taken care of. It was very upsetting & my BP was through the roof! The ER Doc. was wonderful & took care of my needs. I do have to say she did refill my narcotic pain med.which really surprised me. All I can say is," somebody dropped the ball". Good luck to all in your Physician search.

Best Ever!

Recently had a procedure at Santiam Hospital. Every one was wonderful. The hospital was clean and the staff was courteous! They went far above and beyond the call - would go back in a second! Great job!!
