Went to Johnny B. Good's Diner...

Went to Johnny B. Good's Diner with two friends right at peak dinner time in mid summer. There were only 4 other people there and it was easy to see why. After sitting down and seeing the environment I didn't eat there but my friends did. (both

survived the ordeal). One had a Turkey burger that she described as "as delectable as cold damp cardboard" served with a large pile of cold french fries. The other had a special burger with cole slaw he described as "incredibly bland"

The worst part is the filth. The decor is 1950s artifacts that appear to have the original dirt intact. The floors in the customer area and the kitchen are so dirty I suspect that they haven't been cleaned in 50 years either. Even the light fixtures in the kitchen are so dirty that little light can get through! Next to a customer stool at the counter is a very dirty trash can. Hanging adjacent to it were two dirty rags that looked like they haven't been washed in weeks. Those were the rags the staff was using to wipe down the tables. If you are brave enough to use the ketchup, wrap a towel around the bottle before you pick it up to keep your hands clean.

The owner needs to sit down in his dining room, take a hard look and ask himself "If I went to another restaurant that was as dirty as this would I feel safe eating there let alone inclined to do so?".

Go to McDonalds; the food is much better, the service faster and the price lower - the only thing missing would be the dirt and grime.
