Either they built Steamboat around our motel, or our motel was conveniently built in the center of all the action. So, both ways, you know that all the activities and nightlife the valley provides are in close proximity. Choose a weekend get-away for the family, or stay with us the whole week. World-class skiing with slope-side ski-in, ski-out convenience is expensive and overrated. Our motel is right on the main street and just a 5 minutes' bus ride to the gondola and the base of the ski area. Oh, and the bus is free. Great stay

We stayed here a couple of years ago and was very please with the location -the CB was great... my husband loved the biscuits and gravy.... it was eveyrting that we needed.. I would highly recommend it.

Intolerant of jerks

Loved it!

I love the Rabbit Ears Motel - the location is perfect. It's nice to be able to ealk or ride bikes around town and the hot springs are straight across the street. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was nice, it was great to get a little bite to eat before we started our day. The rooms are very clean and comfortable in fact I think they may have the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We look forward to coming back to Stmbt and staying at the Rabbit Ears Motel.

Rude people in Steamboat?

I was surprised to find people so unhappy and unhelpful because it is such a contrast from the rest of Steamboat. There were some significant cleaning oversights and our sheets were dirty but they only agreed to remedy it when we asked very firmly. There was also a used towel so I am concerned a staff member had used the room. I like the location on the river but this is just not a hotel I can recommend.
