The Rafting Co. Camping-RV Resort was established in 1985 and was the first such facility in the State of Missouri that introduced Rafting to the local streams.  Their facility is located on the Scenic Upper Meramec River in Steelville, Mo.  They offer a wide range of things at their Resort.  Rafts, Canoes, Kayaks and Tubes are their main floating units.  All their floats start up river and  end back at the Resort.  They have a 7mile, 5mile and 3 mile float trips.  They also have lodging.  Their Lodge Rooms and Cottages are Pool side and the Country Manor House, for those larger groups, sets only a walking distance from the Resort.  They are one of the few River Resorts in the Steelville, Mo. area that stay open year round.  Makes a great place to visit during all the seasons.  Their facility can handle various sizes of groups.  You can also have your outting or event catered.  For more information, call 1-800-726-7238.  So if you haven't been to TRC in a while or if you would like to experience something new or just tired of the same ole place, thengive them a try.  It's a great place
