Carleton Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, industrial arts, English, family and consumer sciences, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, science, art and craft, and social studies. It offers transportation services, and a student assistance program that includes homework help, guidance services, and addresses drug and mental health issues. It has a drama club and student council, and provides various sporting activities, including volleyball, baseball, basketball, track and field, football and cross-country. It also has a fully equipped library and computer laboratory. The school is operated by the Warren Consolidated Schools, and is located in Sterling Heights, Mich.
