Cr me de la Cr me owns and operates premier early childhood learning centers in the United States. The schools accept children from infancy through kindergarten, as well as after school and summer programs for ages 6 through 12. The first early learning center was established in 1982. Since that time, schools have opened in Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey, New York and Virginia. The company is a privately held corporation headquartered in Colorado. It owns and operates all of its centers and does not franchise. It has the capacity to serve more than 4,000 children with nearly 700 employees nationwide. The Cr me curriculum, based on more than 20 years experience with early childhood learning, is aimed at total child development. The curriculum includes developmentally appropriate activities, such as reading, math, science, art, music, computers, second language, creative movement and problem-solving challenges.
