I used Hugo many times in different projects with total satisfaction, he is a fair person and have known him for many years. I will use him again and always will refer him to my friends

Ive known Hugo for a few years and hired him to do a few jobs around the house a few times (i.e., refinishing hardwoods, wood repair/replacement, power washing, painting). This year he was hired to do several miscellaneous jobs, and he asked for prepayment for his services. Since I trusted him, was foolish enough to pre-pay $6,000 to cover the work. He completed most of the work yet suddenly stopped communicating with me after he ordered the wrong size and finish master bath shower door. I contacted him no fewer than 15 times with no response. To this day, 3 months later, still no reply, until I contacted my credit union to intervene (I had paid him using my credit card). In his response to PFCU he lied, saying I rejected the door and he has completed the work, also stating I owe him money! Please don't be fooled by this contractor who presents as very trustworthy/skilled then simply disappears. Very damaging to the perception I have of contractors, since he's one I truly trusted. Don't waste your time and money on this one!!!
