The other reviewers are absolutely correct. Dr.C is typically late and you can pretty much count on that, but one thing for sure, you'll not find a better Optometrist anywhere than Dr.C. I'm sort of glad to see other people so pissed about him. Maybe I won't have to wait so long to even get an appointment with him. I just always figure on spending a long time at Walmart when I finally get do get in to see him.

I waited an hour and a half for Dr. Colarossi. The staff apologized and said he is ALWAYS late. They told me they would lie to him and tell him he had a 10:00 appointment but it was really 11:00. They thought if he thought it was 10 he’d be on time for his 11:00. They said he figured it out and once again would be late. He is a selfish, narcissist to think so little of his patients. Once my 85 year old mom waited almost 2 hours!! Totally unacceptable. He thinks his time is more important that ours. Who does he think he is? Sorry I couldn’t give ZERO stars. He sucks.

I had an appointment today and after my initial paperwork and eye vision tests the optical tech said, "well, Dr. Colarassi isn't in and no one has heard from him yet today so I don't know when he is coming in." I couldn't believe what I heard. My appointment was at 11:30am. I remembered that this isn't the first time this has happened to me.
So, I shared my frustration that I though it was unprofessional and unacceptable that the doctor would be late coming in and then another optical tech said, "I apologize, but unfortunately this is a pattern of behavior, but he is the best in the field that I've worked with." He then walked away. As if that makes him being late better or acceptable. Two other techs apologized and agreed that it was unacceptable for him to be late but that this was normal behavior and he doesn't technically work for Wal-Mart. I replied, "Well, that doesn't' make Wal-Mart look good." I also told them that I would be more than happy to talk to him on the phone stating my frustration.
Well, Dr. Colarossi called and left a voice message apologizing and that he comes in from out of town and he wasn't that late because normally it takes time for patients to fill out paperwork, etc. etc. Well, I thought if you're coming from out of town, then prepare accordingly and not show up 40 minutes after a scheduled appointment. Also, like the techs stated, "This is normal behavior" So, it's not an isolated incident.
He has LOST my business! LensCrafters here I come!!
