Romantic Get-a-Way! So close to home

My husband and I have stayed to the Rivertown Inn twice. The first time we stayed I didn't know what to expect. I had never stayed in a bed & breakfast before and was worried that it might be a little to intimate for me! Boy was I wrong! The Inn is beatuifully restored and very elegant. We have stayed in the Lord Byron room both times it has a beautiful and comfortable bed, a fireplace, a whirlpool tub (perfect for two), and a deck that is ideal to enjoy an early morning cup or coffee or tea. but next time I would love to stay in the Grand Carriage Suite. We were able to see the room before check-in and it was AMAZING! Lisa, the innskeeper, was also wonderful and a perfect host. I would recommend this to anyone looking for and a weekend or even week day get-a-way. The gourmet breakfast in the morning was the perfect ending to a perfect stay!
