This place is amazing. Prices and location are hard to beat. Places look good on the inside. I'd live here again.

Park Place apartments are almost as close to campus as the commuter lots. I liked the proximity to campus and the very reasonable cost, but I was especially impressed with the management. When I made a maintenance request, the landlord responded the same day and did everything he could to help me. The apartments are older but clean and well taken care of.

First off, if you are going to rent from Duncan-Akers Properties stay away from Park Place apartments. On their webpage they are offering a “special: first month free” ad; when asked if the first month was free they said no…that was the first red flag. Second, when I arrived at the leasing office (located at a different apartment complex entirely) the manager there could not answer any of my questions about Park Place apartments. Third, I put a $200 down payment on a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and then cancelled within 72 hours. The Park Place manager called me and said that he would not give me the refund stating “there was no law that gives anyone the right to claim refunds within any time period”. We continued to argue then he offered to pay me 150 bucks back and keep 50 for process and handling….I said no. Eventually he paid me back all of the 200 dollars that I deposited short of me taking him to court…which I could have easily won. These guys, especially the manager, are shysters (in my opinion) and very unprofessional..stay away, I warned you.
