I have visited this church for nearly a decade as I have family who are members and I do not live in the area but have visited during special occasions. The direction in which Pastor Mike is leading this church is not one I have ever witnessed from Highview Baptist Church! Very parallel to some sort of cult and believes in punishing its members. Favoritism is obvious here. Do not seek his pastoral guidance in any way, if you're not favored then you'll be disregarded. I have prayed for this church and that Pastor Mike really reflects back to why he became a pastor. If this was his true Christian calling to be a pastor then he sure better provide true Christian leadership within his fellowship by not discriminating and speaking Gods truth, not based on his own pre judgment of people, especially those who are members prior to his arrival. Most of which have moved onto other churches. The Great Lord is watching, be sure to practice what you preach and lead in HIS Truth!

Church yesterday morning was wonderful! Pastor Mike has done wonders with this church since he started and I cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to bless him and the church! The choir is back in full swing and the music just keeps getting better every Sunday. The youth group is also growing!

Good fellowship but has favoritism among some crowd, which is not good.
