Established in 1919, The American Legion is a patriotic veterans organization with political influence perpetuated by its grass-roots involvements in the legislation process. Based in Stockbridge, Mich., it is one of the nation's largest veterans service organization, advocating patriotism/honor, promoting national security and continued devotion to its fellow service members and veterans.
