best italian food in stockton authentic I had oso boco and husband had lamb both was excellent atmosphere was great waiter was very pleasant and good restaurant was very clean and good atmosphere recommend to everyone will eat there all the time now

My family just had dinner at Ciao Bella. It was only 3:45pm and the restaurant was empty, but we were soon greeted by a young man who seated us in the left side dining area. We were brought our water and freshly toasted garlic bread. The menu is extensive for a small restaurant. We all had salads that came with our meal and they were generously topped with olives, tomatoes, beans and cheese. My husband had the veal parmigiana (he said the parmigiana was very tender and delicious as was the raviolis). My daughter had the chicken scalopini (lots of pasta with lots of rich creamy alfredo sauce and topped with large slices of chicken), and I had the Pasta Del Mar in marinara sauce (lots of pasta and the sauce was very flavorful with a little kick to it. The salmon was very good and tender and the shrimp and scallops were huge but tender .) It's a little pricey but you really get your money's worth. The servings are really generous, and if you eat the garlic bread & salad then most likely you will not be able to finish your dinner. (We had plenty of delicious food to take home for another meal). The waiter was very attentive, filling our water and the raspberry ice tea (that too was very good) and checking to see if we were happy with our meal.

I had read the reviews before we chose this restaurant and they were 4 stars out of 5. I heartily agree with that and we will go again to this restaurant to try some of the other dishes. Support our independent eateries, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Especially this one.

Great ravolli's & lasgna and the french dip sandwich is always tender and plenty of it ! The staff is very friendly and they have a lot of good local wines !
