I hired an attorney to handle a custody hearing for me because I did not know what to expect in court. When I went to the office to prepare for my appearance, the legal assistant was rude and unprofessional, refusing to answer legitimate questions. When my court date arrived, I had not even seen the forms for the parenting agreement that we would be negotiating. I had to enter the courtroom alone because the attorney was not there yet. She told me that she had forgotten she was having breakfast with her son that morning. She compromised my bottom line when it was not even necessary. When I recieved my final custody order, it was incomplete. By then our contract was over and they refused to take my calls. Hiring this attorney was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. I would seriously recommend or representing yourself before using this law office.
