Trinity Lutheran Church was founded in 1882 based on Psalm 102: 18 "Let this be recorded for generations to come, so that people yet unborn may praise the Lord." We are an inner city Church located in the heart of downtown Stockton, in a building erected in 1923. We praise God for his blessings and do homage to our founding fathers as courageous pioneers. That is as it should be, for we know that in the years prior to 1882 there was no Missouri Synod Lutheran Church in Stockton.
