The 4 weeks of training was super worth it everything that the instructors jesse Ishmael Charles and rob taught me was crucial in aiding me to get my class A license.

The instructors are very thorough with how they teach and flexible with students who are struggling they will give extra attention to those who need it while still aiding the rest of the class. Everything that was taught from the pre trip, air brake test, skills and drive practices were all present during my actual DMV exam so it was a good feeling being more than prepared. No corner was left unchecked with the training i feel. The permit test instructor Bob was super thorough with how he taught the class. He made things very easy to remember so for the permit exam once again it was super nice to have all of my bases covered.

I was super pleased with everything from the instructors, to the people at the front desk being very nice and helpful, to the administrator Mike who is very clear and helpful with how he communicates. Overall I felt really pleased about my time here and if I had to go to a trucking school again I would choose western pacific school 10 times out of 10.

This school is top shelf! I've always wanted my Class-A, and studied on my own to pass the written test and get my permit. Signed up for Western Pacific Truck School back in Feb. '24, and loved the training. Everyone, the students and instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. There were plenty of trucks in new condition, both automatic and manual, and we each received plenty of time to practice.

We got one week of classroom, one week of pre-trip,, one week of practicing the DMV skills like Controlled Stop, Straight-line Back, Offset Forward, Offset Back. Then, to top it off, we got one week of actually driving the big rig on the actual DMV road test course in West Sacramento.

These guys make sure you get your license! I didn't pass the DMV Skills test my first try, so these guys gave me the opportunity to come back in and practice with one-on-one time with their best instructor to make sure I had the skills to pass. I got my Class-A in the mail today with tanker, doubles/triples, air brakes, and manual transmissions. I'll be interviewing with Swift Transportation next week for long haul. They're a terrible school that wastes your time and money. They act friendly until they get your money.

I went to Western Pacific In Stockton, Ca. Their driving exam passage rate for 2014 was 55%, and I fully expect it to be even worse for 2015. You can find their annual report on the BPPE government website.

If you do your research, you will know to steer clear. There are schools in Stockton that guarantee a pass for only $1500. There is a school in Sacramento that will do it for $1300 and guarantee a job, too. Why would you pay over 4k when they don't even guarantee a pass? Their trucks are junk. They're not even honest.
