DO NOT USE THIS VET. Here is my story:



During a routine cleaning my cat became extremely agitated. She had been cleaned several times before at MSV with no incident; however, this time, there was. According to the staff, her behavior was unprovoked; I find this hard to believe. Dusk had become so agitated and defensive that she urinated and defecated on herself. The vet initially suggested that I take my dirtier cat home and return with her on Monday. I refused. The then suggested that I take my cat and leave her in the garage until Monday.



Leave me the cat in the garage for two days, in the middle of the summer?



Left with few options, I left Dusk at MSV for two days so they could clean her on Monday. Upon bringing her home, she began to shake and twitch uncontrollably. She is frightened of blankets and panics when I reach for her. She keeps struggling to get to her food and water bowl as if she had not been fed or had water in the two days she was in Main street’s care.

These people are only about the money, not the pet.

I took my boxer (Kolby) to Dr. Moorehead when he started having seizers. Dr. Moorehead and his wonderful staff took the time to find out what was wrong with my boxer when others told me he had to be put to sleep. They take the time to educate you on pet care and things to look for that most owners would not know. With care and attention MainStreet Veterinarians gave my family the best gift we could have ever received...a healthy dog. A big thanks to you Dr. and you caring staff!!

I totally agree with MaryBeth. Prices way too high. Do not take your male pedigree there, and DO NOT allow Dr. Moorehead to spay your male.

I stayed as long as I did because of the animal friendly older ladies in the front. The new staff are surly and unprofessional. They charged me for a bath I specifically asked them not to give. The woman wanted to negotiate and refused to give me a credit for my money. This was the last straw. I'm looking for a new vet.



I chose a star because it is requested. I rate this business a minus.

horrible clinic, priced way to high, unplesant staff in back, take your animal somewhere else!!! Not here!!! Worst experience ever!

Have been taking my pets for some 9 years now, and the have a pet friendly environment which I enjoy. It shows that they cherish the role they play in my pets lives. Would not take my animals anywhere else.
