This has been the worst experience I've ever had with any service provider. Please don't contact them as you will not get any response from them when you have an issue. My scenario sounds unbelievable but true. I called Shiny Windows based on a flyer I received to have my windows cleaned, I scheduled the service but then cancelled based on other reviews I have seen on this non-reputable company. They showed up at my house anyway when I was not home and proceeded to remove my screens to clean my windows from the outside, doing damage to over 20 screens. Once I realized the damage, I asked them to leave immediately and my husband contacted the company. A woman pretended to be the receptionist (who is actually the owner), Julie and told us she would have the manager call us back to come by for the damage. She lied to him on several accounts and even went as far to tell him some fictitious story about me letting in the workers, removing the screens from the inside and letting them work up until the last window. I then called back and told her this was completely false but was reassured by her that they would be back in touch with us to come out to look at the damage. We have called several times with no response but voicemail asking them to assess and rectify the damage. Do yourself a favor and throw away the flyer you receive for this company, it's been nothing but a headache for us.

I had Julie & her husband do some work for me a number of years ago and they totally disappeared with my deposit money, a significant amount of money. I searched hard for them for a long time - their cell phone numbers were all changed. Now I see they are back in business. These people are crooks and I now that I know they are back in town I will pursue them legally.

I used Shiny Windows to clean my windows and gutters in November, and I do not recommend them. The customer service at this husband-and-wife business is completely unprofessional, unresponsive and frustrating. On the day the work was done, after I paid my bill I realized I had paid $50 more than I expected. When I called Julie Espinosa and explained the problem, she graciously agreed to refund me the $50. She promised to hold my check and set a date and time to pick up a replacement check. Great -- except she never showed up and never called to say she couldnât make the appointment. Then it turned out they had cashed my check. When she finally called me back â after 2 days and multiple messages from me -- she gave me a plausible explanation about a mix-up in the office and assured me she would come to my house on Monday after the holiday weekend to personally deliver $50 in cash. But again, Julie didnât show up. When I called again, she said she had returned to town late and set a time the next morning to deliver the money. But then she canceled 20 minutes before the designated time (with another plausible excuse) and said she would be there in the late afternoon instead. That would have been fine, except again, Julie failed to show up or call. That was two weeks ago. I have left messages every business day. Nobody answers the phone and I have not received one return call. The company still has my money. I am frustrated beyond words, and would never recommend Shiny Windows.
