Stowe Middle School offers a variety of academic and extra-curricular options to students in grades six through eight. The school maintains a staff of teachers that offers educational classes in music, language arts, science, reading, writing, social studies and math. Its academic curriculum also includes French, Spanish, Chinese, art and physical education. Stowe Middle School organizes various sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, field hockey, track and cross-country. It offers the Friday Program, which is a wellness program that encourages students to participate in activities, such as snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, skating and swimming. Located in Stowe, Vt., the school is a part of the Stowe School District, which operates several educational institutions.
