Provided by YP.comI recently purchased my popup camper from Camper World and we really loved camping!! So we wanted to go a head and upgrade so the whole family could come since we had such a great time. I found the perfect model so I got a hold of Camper World and told them what I wanted to do and that I had financing all lined out! So Wes came back to me with numbers that did not match online pricing? He then backed peddled and changed the numbers to match online pricing. He pretty much told me that Camper World ripped me off on my camper and they can only give me $500 for something I paid $2000 and I also have to pay $195 stock fee and another $695 fee for a presentation and warranty. I told him I do not want any of those "fees" that just magically appeared and I would like $2000 for my trade...he became rude and said I seemed like a "smart women" sexiest anyone? He then said he would see what he could do....he could back 15 minutes and it magically sold đ¤đ how sad we live a world of covid-19 and families want to camp and be safe and you have these kind of sharks taking advantage of people at these hard times

Provided by YP.comWe took our 2016 Highland Ridge Open Range to them on 8/26/2017 to be sold on consignment, we were charged a $254 fee to go through the unit to make sure everything was in working order, & to make sure it was clean. (It had been thoroughly cleaned, all tanks drained and the black tanks flushed four times before taking it to them)
Our first issues started almost immediately, with the service department calling to say that the black tanks needed to be drained and flushed, that the stove was not getting any gas to the burners, that two outdoor lamp lenses needed to be replaced, front jack won't auto level, inverter inoperable...we had been living in the rig until very recently and the stove was working just fine, also had had no problems with the inverter or the leveling system, but since we still had warranty on the unit we told them to go ahead with only repairs that would be covered under warranty. ...after calling the Regional manager (in case anyone needs to call him Billy Cardwell 417- 736- 2341 ext 1210) we were finally told that of course we handle the work for Highland Ridge.
We simply waited until our three month contract ran out with them and called to ask that Miles (our sales person) have it ready for us to be picked up on Saturday 12-02-2017...we were told that it would be "staged" and ready to pick up out in the front driveway, when we got there our 42 1/2 foot rig was tucked away back by the service bays and blocked in by not only one but three different RV's, the lights were left on inside, the propane tanks were all fully open, the interior doors were not secured, the plug from the hot water tank was rolling around in the underbelly, it was filthy, and the code on the exterior door has been changed...plus there were a group of Camping World employees standing out front watching and snickering at us trying to get our rig out...like a bunch of grade school girls not playing nicely with others.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT GO HERE!! You have been warned. Went here to have new steer tires put on. The incompetant mechanic took an impact wrench to my simulator hubcap destroying it, on top of that there were boot prints and grease all over both new weels. As far as the hubcap they told us they would "make it right" they pounded it and tac welded it and slapped it back on. We told them that is not making it right and they need to replace it. They agreed and said it would be about a week. Its been a month now and they havent done jack. We asked them what the hold up was and they told us "we dont make them" we asked how long it would be and they said "we dont know". So far the impression I get is they are shady liars that we might have to sue, because it costs $600.00 for the set of hubcaps we cant buy just one and we paid $1500.00 for the cruddy service we got and it is still not finished.

Provided by YP.comWent to them to have steer tires put on. They did a incompetant job. Destroyed one of the simulator hubcaps with an impact wrench, and grease and boot prints all over tires. They said they would "make it right". They pounded and tac welded the hubcap like that would make it new again and slapped it back on. We told them that was not the condition we brought the vehicle in and wanted it replaced. They agreed and said it would be a week. Its been a month and still no hubcap. Went to them to find out what the problem is and they told us " we dont make them " asked wen we will get it they said "I dont know". It will cost us $600.00 to replace it ourselves because they come in a set. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT GO HERE! You have been warned.

Provided by YP.comOur generator failed in route from Georgia to West Coast and wouldnât start.
Kevin processed methodically to eliminate the simple and obvious problems.
After all attempts had been exhausted, the service manager George took over. George, who hereafter should be known as the âdiesel whispererâ, finally coaxed the generator alive.
Michael then accommodated us with onsite overnight camping. He even gave us his personal cell phone in case we had a need during the night.
The following day, Kevin and Steve made the final installations when replacement part arrived.
We completed the trip of the lifetime with our generator running flawlessly.
Within the first hour, I felt a confidence and trust for this team as I do with the mechanics that care for our fleet at home
Thanks again to Kevin, George, Michael and Steve for delivering such excellent customer service to our family.

Provided by YP.comThere a joke! I took my MH in to get it my generator checked and they didn't know what was wrong with it. They charged me 138.00 to check it out. Then they tryed to sell me a generator. I took it to Thomas and sons and they replaced the voltage regulator. Good as new!

Provided by YP.comDo not buy here ! I spent $130,000 plus other things over $4000. My 2014 Thor Challenger has been in the shop more then at the campground.
Even the service manager " George " will lie to you. I have been waiting over three week to hear back from him on why my refrigerator doesn't work while driving . He said he would have answers in a few days. Plus we waited over a month to get a wiper motor as the new one never worked. We couldn't use the coach as we were afraid we would get caught in the rain . I will never buy from them again and will not be upgrading next year with a larger Thor coach. No way! Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from them or Thor.

Provided by YP.comDON'T SHOP HERE!! We had a terrible experience with these folks. What a mess! I had heard they have a new GM at this location so we gave them a 2nd chance, and everything was still the same. We wish we would of bought our brand new camper at a different dealership because of all the issues we've ran into "after the sale". Our friends bought a new camper from this place too....and what do you know...they have the same issues. Stay away, it will save you some stress! There are other local businesses who would treat you much better than Camping Wold.
