Provided by YP.comOnce this clinic was taking over from Dr. Busesk it has gone down hill. The new doctor is not caring. When I brought my blind cat in for a check up months ago, she told me let her roam around the room. She's blind! Really! I called last week because my blind cat was lethargic, and not eating. They told me they could not get her in. I brought her to Shoreline emergency and they wound up keeping her overnight because there was a foreign object in her stomach. She also had a UTI/kidney infection. I will not go back to the pet hospital at Stratford. I am seeing a new vet this week for a follow up.

Provided by YP.comThis past Saturday I called with the hopes of getting my golden retriever in for an emergency appointment after she was very uncomfortable the night before and we suspected a bladder infection. The woman who answered the phone showed no compassion and was ready to schedule an appointment for Monday even after I had told my dog seemed so much more uncomfortable that morning. We hung up and I immediately went in search of another vet. I called the Shakespeare Vet in Stratford and they squeezed us in for an emergency appointment no questions asked. While a the appointment, the vet was so kind, compassionate and honest, thoroughly examining our dog. What we believed was a bladder infection ended up being Lymphoma. The vet explained her suspicions several times as the shock made it hard to process. I would never take any of my pets to the Pet Hospital of Stratford after it was made clear that it's more a business than individuals caring for sick animals. It's now Tuesday and my dog is sitting her after having had cancer treatment because Shakespeare Vet was kind enough to squeeze us in then refer us to an oncologist that would see us quickly because as they said time was of the essence.

Provided by YP.comI have brought my cats to the Pet Hospital for many, many years and generally have been satisfied but always thought the fees were a tad high. I enjoyed talking with Dr. G who recently took over from Dr. Busek and was happy she would take care of spaying my pair of 6-month old kittens. What I wasn't prepared for was the exorbitant bill for the surgery. It was over $500/per/kitten. I have checked around and found this price to be one of the highest in the area. If I had thought better, I would have gone elsewhere but I like supporting my local vet and the care was good. Still, the fees here seem consistently higher than other vets in the area.

Provided by YP.com4 visits and I had 3 separate vets. My dog had a golf ball sized growth appear almost overnight so I made an emergency appointment. A new vet took a sample and sent it off to the lab and she didn't take enough of a sample to show results. They told me to call in two weeks for a retest. Thankfully by then the growth went away. Paid 170 dollars for a test that had no results and the office staff blamed me for not calling them for retest. If your looking for a consistent routine with the same vet this is not the place. If your looking to actually get results for a $170 test this is not this place to use. Very upsetting conversations from the staff placing blame on me intend of just admitting their mistake of the test and issue refund. Very upsetting experience with this vet.
