The district also provides a variety of equipment that includes video players, typewriters, scanners, printers, microfiche readers and overhead projectors. Poplar Creek Public Library District has a children s department that offers a collection of Spanish, fire safety and parent-teacher books. The district has been operational for more than 30 years and maintains a location in Streamwood, Ill.
