Established in 1978, Streamwood High School serves more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. It is one of the five high schools operated by School District U-46. The school provides individual carpeted rooms, lockers, auditorium and swimming pool facilities for students. It offers various career and technical education classes in business management, family and consumer science, industrial technology and health science. The school also offers various math classes in algebra, practical geometry, trigonometry, statistics and consumer mathematics. Additionally, the school has a language arts department that offers courses for various levels, including fresher, sophmore, junior and senior. Streamwood High School offers classes in physical education, driving and weight training. It is located in Streamwood, Ill.
